FUNDED PROJECTS

In the past, all of the money raised was for small local grassroot projects with massive impact. Funding was also helped by donations from AIC Rwanda members and other generous sponsors along the way.

Our Small Grants Committee administered the Small Grants Fund and each project was assessed for economic suitability and viability, and allocated a champion liaison person from within the committee.  Representatives from the committee visited each project before and during the adminstration of the grant.  Upon project completion, each successful outcome was reported to and shared with AIC membership and donors.

The wonderful thing about being involved with all these amazing projects was having the opportunity to bring people and organisations together.  Indeed, we brought several of our cooperatives and projects together to cooperate and learn from one another and share resources.
